It was shown in the previous unit that it’s possible to select single model objects by a mouse click. Beside the alteration of the object attributes, the deletion of the whole object is possible, too.
This option is placed at the Menu Bar -> Edit -> Delete. The object will be deleted immediately.
It’s necessary to regard that all children of this object will be deleted, too. It’s also important to know that by deleting a branch with a bud the growth will stop at this position. The rule in this growth grammar of the example model defines that new branches just grow out of buds.
This is underlined if we press the Run button. It’s happening nothing where branches were deleted because of the absence of buds.
