This learning module deals with the creation of Structural-Functional Plant Models with the modelling platform GroIMP and the programming language XL (eXtended L-system language).
The module should be used as a supplement to the corresponding course which is conducted by Prof. Dr. Winfried Kurth at the Department for Ecoinformatics, Biometry and Forest Growth of the University of Göttingen.
The target groups of this module are primarily students who regularly participate in the course. But the module can also serve as a good learning basis for students entering the course with some delay and for external scholars.
