Introduction to Chapter 2 (1/8)

How do you search for literature? The answer depends on what you have at the starting point. There are two options:

  1. You know the topic of your paper. ➔ Conduct a topic search.
  2. You know which sources you are looking for. ➔ Conduct a citation search.

On the following pages, we introduce the two types of literature search and share some helpful tips. We will, thus, explain how you can find relevant search terms for your topic and what you should take into account when searching for different publication forms.
