In a library catalogue, you will find literature provided by the library. This includes printed books and journals or licenced e-books and e-journals. The Göttingen University Catalogue (GUK) – sometimes also referred to as OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) – encompasses the collection of the central library as well as all divisional and departmental libraries of the University of Göttingen. Therefore, in the library catalogue (GUK), you will find details about literature available at the Göttingen State and University Library.

You should always start your search in the Göttingen University Catalogue (GUK) on the homepage of the Göttingen State and University Library. From there, you will be able to access other important search platforms as well, e.g. the already-mentioned DBIS or EZB.
