Jose M. Fedriani is a community ecologist and evolutionary biologist currently working at the Desertification Research Center (CIDE) located in Valencia (Spain). His academic career started in Sevilla (Spain), where Jose Fedriani did his undergraduate and PhD studies in biology. Afterwards, several post-doc positions allowed him to work at the University of Massachusetts (USA), at the Universidade de Lisboa (Portugal), at the Doñana Biological Station (Spain) and at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (Germany). His research mainly focuses on the patterns and mechanism of plant-animal interactions, and particular seed dispersal and pollination.
