A Forest Management Plan is:
- a document for (at minimum) 10 years of planning, which guides and controls the management of a forest region;
- specific statements of goals and objectives for a forest region;
- series of activities to achieve the goals and objectives;
- should be reviewed and updated at least every 5 years.
