It was mentioned in the previous unit that it’s possible to save a self-designed layout by saving the project. But it’s also possible to save a couple of different self-designed layouts within one project and to switch between these layouts if you need it.
This works by the function “Add Layout” in the Menu Bar -> Panels -> Add Layout. If you want to save a layout, you can achieve this by using this function.
We’re demonstrating that and see that in Panels -> Set Layout the new option “Project Layouts” has appeared where the newly added layout is to be found. Now, we’re changing something in the layout and add this too. We see in Panels -> Layouts -> Project Layouts two available layouts. “Layout” is the original and “Layout 2” is the self-designed one.
The number of save slots isn’t limited, so you can save arbitrarily many layouts and switch between them.
These project layouts are saved within the project and they are, of course, not available in other projects.
